Quilt Coat - String Quilt

This quilt coat was made using a beautiful handcrafted quilt sourced from Minnesota, made between the 1930s-50s. It is full of rich bold colors and patterns, making for a mesmerizing  work of art! It is in decent condition for its age, and includes spots of wear and tear around weaker fabrics. We have mended many worn parts of this quilt to ensure the longevity of the garment. Paint splatters and stains can be seen in the product photos.

The pattern created for this coat has been designed to fit a variety of bodies, intentionally boxy with a drop shoulder. Featuring a snap closure

This quilt is light weight. Always remember that this coat is made from an antique quilt that has seen decades of love.

first, remember this is a piece of history - likely around 100 years old. you will see signs of wear, and likely see small tears and stains, which is totally normal! take proper care and be gentle - mending as needed.
