Quilt Coat - Granny Square Friendship S

This quilt coat was made using a vintage quilt sourced from Minnesota, handcrafted in the 1931. It is in great condition for its age! The quilt is all hand quilted, hand embroidered, and hand pieces with a variety of feed sack and antique cotton fabrics.

The pattern created for this coat has been designed to fit a variety of bodies, and is intentionally open faced to be accommodating.

This quilt is a medium weight, perfect for transitions and the cooler months.

This quilt has held up well over time. Always remember that this coat is made from an antique quilt that has seen decades of love.

first, remember this is a piece of history - likely around 100 years old. you will see signs of wear, and likely see small tears and stains, which is totally normal! take proper care and be gentle - mending as needed.
