Quilt Hoodie - Tulip Basket

This quilt hoodie was made using a handmade quilt sourced from Minnesota, from around the early 1900s.  It is in good condition for its age, including signs of wear and tear including discoloration, visible mending and patches. The quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with great attention to detail. 

The pattern created for this hoodie has been designed to fit a variety of bodies, intentionally boxy with a drop shoulder. 

This quilt is light to medium weight, perfect for wearing in different ways in most seasons and has held up well over time. Always remember that this hoodie is made from an antique quilt that has seen decades of love.

first, remember this is a piece of history - likely around 100 years old. you will see signs of wear, and likely see small tears and stains, which is totally normal! take proper care and be gentle - mending as needed.
