Quilt Shorts - Half Square Triangle

These quilt shorts were made made using a vintage Half Square Triangle quilt, from the mid to late 1900s.

It features pastel floral and stripe patterns. It is in very good condition for its age, with signs of wear, and worn patches and opened seams mended. The quilt is all hand pieced with great attention to detail. Discoloration and imperfections are featured in the images.

The pattern created for these has been designed to fit a variety of bodies - intentionally boxy with an elastic waistband! This pair is most suitable for sizes M/L - see measurements below.

This quilt is medium weight, perfect for summer to autumn transition.

The quilt has held up pretty well over time. Always remember that these shorts are made from an antique quilt that has seen decades of love
