Quilt Top Dress - Country Checkers XL

This one of a kind quilt top dress was created from a beautiful pieced quilt top sourced from Central Texas. It has reversible neck lines (one higher, one lower) so you can wear it either way!

The pattern created for this dress has been designed to fit a variety of bodies - intentionally boxy with a loose, flowy fit! It slips right over your head with no zippers, buttons or snaps.

This dress is lightweight, but not see-through & the bodice is lined with a deadstock cotton fabric.

first, remember this is a piece of history - likely around 100 years old. you will see signs of wear, and likely see small tears and stains, which is totally normal! take proper care and be gentle - mending as needed.

washing - deep clean about once a year by soaking in cool water with a gentle or plant based soap - preferably unscented. gently agitate and let it sit for a while - then lay flat in the sun to dry and disinfect! feel free to email us with any maintenance questions.
